Appearance Isn't Everything!
Making the change to a healthy lifestyle is not only important for people who are over weight. There are many very unhealthy, but thin people who rely on their physical appearance to indicate whether they are healthy or not. There are many factors to take into consideration when determining if a person is actually healthy. Unfortunately, most of us only factor in appearance. If someone is thin, they are healthy, right? WRONG! I know many thin people who are incredibly unhealthy. In fact, those people are probably worse off in the long run because they literally have NO idea!
-Blood pressure
-Blood sugar
-Cholesterol
These 3 components should be monitored in both overweight and thin people. Just because your body isn't physically showing you that you are unhealthy, it could be in need of serious changes to control these potential "silent" killers.
If you are contemplating making the change to a healthy lifestyle because when you look in the mirror you aren't concerned with appearance, just remember, it is the things that you can't see that could be doing the most damage to your body.
