A Little Bit of Lindsey

I am 25 years young with SO much to look forward to! September I married  my best friend Phil and currently living in Texas together :) We own a house together And Phil works full time as a wind turbine technician and I am a stay at home wife. We also have two kitties that are our (my) whole world. I recently discovered that I am gluten intolerant which has changed not only my life, but Phil's also. We used to enjoy adventurous dinners at all kinds of different places whenever we could get out but that quickly changed with this recent discovery. Now we have to call any place we even think about going and ask if they have "gluten free options" some have a few, but usually not. We have always enjoyed cooking at home together, and that is what we do almost every single night!

I will always give credit where credit is due and with that being said, I owe it all to Phil when it comes to my culinary skills. Before we started dating I was lucky if I could properly boil pasta. Now, I'm prepping a weeks worth of meals for myself and whipping up breakfast, lunch, and dinner with no hesitation! He saved me the first couple months of being gluten free, if it wasn't for him I would probably still not have the hang of it. Much love to my better half, you rule!

I have had GI trouble my whole life. I can remember being young and having issues that led to many different doctors appointments, and a countless number of tests, only to end up right back where we stared with no answers. I even had my gallbladder removed last year because I was assured thats what had been causing all of my trouble over the years. Since finding out that was not the culprit I started making changes of my own because I was tired of being sick all the time. Now, not only do I eat gluten free but I also eat a 95% clean diet which I prep each week and plan out so I never have an excuse to mess up and truth be told, I have never felt better, EVER. Now, I say 95% of the time because come on, I am only human. We all have our cheat meals, and naughty indulgences in moderation, of course. My parents owns a pizzeria which now offers gluten free pizza (inspired by me) so it's only natural that I "support the family business" am I right?

I also need to give credit to something that has made my life not only easier, but also aids in me feeling as great as I do. SHAKEOLOGY! The healthiest meal of the day (also the most delicious) and the perfect way to start my morning or end a workout. I am currently working on a Beachbody program that has me drinking my shakeology and working out 6 days a week. Once I complete this program I can't wait to try another! The community is so supportive and inviting I wish I would have know about it sooner! I will give much more info on that throughout my posts and give opportunities to those of you who are interested in being a part of it. :)

Luke 1:37 - For with God nothing shall be impossible.

God has truly answered my prayers when it comes to my strength to overcome every obstacle that I have fought through with my health and healing process. It is with HIM that I find the force in me to continue to pursue a healthy happy lifestyle and want to instill it upon others. You must have faith, it is the strongest most powerful thing in us that allows us to do anything
