The End of One Journey, The Beginning of Another!

So it has been a little over 60 days since I started TurboFire and on Monday I am moving onto Insanity! I figured I should show you my after pictures of TurboFire and what will now be my before pictures of Insanity. If you know me you know how hard I struggle with confidence especially when it comes to my body. Showing these pictures is not easy for me to do, but it is all part of the journey I'm on in hopes of one day having the confidence I have always desired.

Since starting TurboFire I cannot deny the boost of confidence I have experienced so far, but I am still a work in progress. I wish I had my before pictures from Turbo but, I took them on my Rebel and cannot find the memory card they are on. That is what I get for having 10 different memory cards I suppose.

My whole blog was created to help people in not only health and fitness but also to teach you to accept yourself for who you are. You have to love yourself first if you ever expect someone else to. I have learned to love myself with all of my flaws and the parts that may not be perfect in someone else's eyes.

Two things I was to say before you look at the pictures:
1. Sorry about the sports bra and underwear, my bathing suits are all packed away for winter.
2. Sorry about the messy room, I just got a new computer desk so I am in the middle of some rearranging.

Yes, that is a baby muscle haha! Never had that before and I'm proud!
One thing that is pretty lame but is a huge deal for me, is since doing TurboFire I have finally after 8 years retired my belly button ring. I know it may not seem like a big deal to most but I guess for me it was always kind of like a security blanket. I figured if I had it in maybe it would take the focus off of my body (dumb I know) but because I am finally starting to become proud of my body, I thought it was a good time to say goodbye and step out of my comfort zone.

I have also begun to learn the difference in being "skinny" and being HEALTHY. Since starting this workout I have gained weight and I feel I look better then I did 4 pounds ago. Gaining healthy weight rules! Who thought I would ever say that!?

There you have it. To be continued in 60 days if I make it through Insanity ;)

Who else is ready to start their journey to new found confidence and a whole new you!?
