Since this IS a long weekend filled with family, friends, and food, be mindful of what you are still working towards. The temptation can be killer but the reward will be even greater. There IS room for indulgence but try not to go overboard to the point of self defeat.

If you are heading out to a BBQ, instead of making a triple layer chocolate cake, make a lighter option that not only you can enjoy, but others can too! We eat with our eyes first so get creative!
These little banana split bites are perfect and just as satisfying for someone with a sweet tooth! You not only get fruit but the little bit of chocolate will add an extra touch of sweetness without overdoing it. Make a tray of these for a party and watch how fast they will go.
The weekend will be over before you know it so don't let those days off set you back. Having to spend the upcoming week making up for the poor choice you made over the weekend just isn't worth it.
